Fulfilling their festive overseas promotional duties, the stars of “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” took over the spotlight at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival in southern France on Friday (May 18).

After attending a photocall to begin the day, the lovely Jessica Chastainhit the red carpet premiere in a Giorgio Armani frock while co-star Jada Pinkett Smith brightened up the scene in a orange Atelier Versace dress.

Slated to hit theaters in the States on June 8th, “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” finds Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple - as their journey takes them through Europe, where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent - Madagascar style.”

Previously talking with WWD about the scent, Kim denied rumors that the inspiration behind her new perfume was her failed marriage with ex-husband Kris Humphries.

“That is definitely a part of who I am, but that is not what the fragrance is about at all,” she said, adding, “It is about overcoming things and letting your true self come out.”

Continuing to dish about her beauty offering, the 31-year-old explained, “This fragrance is different because it really changes on your body. When you spray it, it keeps on evolving, and you want to keep smelling it to figure out what that really is.”

Adding more insight into the fragrance, Lighthouse Beauty chief executive officer Philip Zellner told WWD, “True Reflection is something that Kim wanted to do to reflect on her experiences in life, what she’s gone through in the last six to 12 months, which has her thinking and reflecting on the changes in her life. Lord & Taylor is the most upscale marketplace that we’ve taken any of her fragrances to. We are reaching a more mature audience who we believe can really share in Kim’s experiences in reflecting on what she’s gone through.”

Having just wrapped up filming their hit show’s third season, co-star couple Lea Michele and Cory Monteith headed east as they were spotted together in New York City on Wednesday (May 16).

The “Glee” duo lovingly held hands as they wandered about the streets of Manhattan while popping into a few stores during the midweek shopping excursion.

As for Lea and Cory’s series’ upcoming finale episode - the season closer will focus on the graduating seniors and what kind of plans are ahead of them after they leave William McKinley High School.

Getting ready to take the judge’s table for what might be one of the last times, Jennifer Lopez was spotted making her way into the taping for “American Idol” on Wednesday (May 16).

Andrew on how it has been playing Biff in ‘Death of a Salesman’:
“[Laughs] Of course going through this kind of release and catharsis, facing all your demons in a space of three hours every night—it can be incredibly rewarding. It’s invigo- rating. It’s a great challenge, a great test and opportunity. There’s something very pure about it. There are no frills and there’s nowhere to hide and you have to be vulnerable as hell, and you have to serve something much greater than yourself, which is this incred- ible work of art that you’re trying to bring to life. It’s a wonderful, lucky opportunity for any actor to have. But, yeah, the majority of the time I wake up in the morning I’m kind of confused as to why I decided to do it. [Laughs] But you have to heave yourself up!”

Andrew on the process and how he ended up being the one chosen for the much-sought after role as Spider-Man:
“It was pretty basic, apart from it being more dragged out and pressure-filled and dra- matic than any other audition process I’ve ever been through. They like to put you through the ringer, in the respect that it creates drama and tension among a generation of actors.”

Tobey on the impact of being Spider-Man on his career/life:
“I think our thing was a little bit different because movies hadn’t been doing the sort of opening-weekend business that’s fairly common—even expected—today. The first Harry Potter came out about six months before us and it was this phenom- enon from Day one. it was so wild because it was a new thing at that moment—and i’m not saying that hasn’t happened in movie history, but at the time that was a big jump. and then that happened with us. People didn’t anticipate [2002's Spider- Man] to be like that. Leading up to it you start to get reactions and people tell you, you know, what the tracking is and what range your opening weekend box office is likely to be. but for me it was kind of unexpected. So much shifted in my life the weekend the movie came out. it was shocking.”
